Project Overview：Oldmedo’s research investigated the oil sands tailings deposits to gain a deeper understanding of the safety and transformation of the tailings deposits over a period of time. Traditional soil collection methods are done by human operators-they are labor-intensive, expensive, unreliable, and inaccurate. Husky is used for accurate, continuous reporting and precise data points, and addresses the necessity and importance of continuous interaction with the tailings pond surface.
