The "Jingtian Cup" event is linked to the World Robot Competition, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the China Association for Science and Technology, and hosted by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Robot Branch of the Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, and Wuhan Jingtian Electric Co., Ltd.

The 2018 "Jingtian Cup" competition was successfully held at the Engineering Training Center of Huazhong University of Science and Technology on March 31, 2018, under the initiative of teachers from various universities.
Three teams from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University, and Huazhong Normal University won the first, second and third place respectively. The competition attracted more than 20 college students and teachers to observe and observe.
The 2019 "Jingtian Cup" event was successfully linked to the World Robotics Competition, which was held at Beijing Yichuang International Convention and Exhibition Center on August 20-25, 2019.
The event attracted 17 teams and 117 participating players participated in the event. Academician Ding Han and Professor Li Zexiang came to the site to give guidance, and the competition was highly appreciated by two experts. In the event, the SUNNY team from Huazhong University of Science and Technology won the championship of the autonomous driving group, and the calorie team of Wuhan University of Technology won the championship of the human-like relay race.
The 2020 "Jingtian Cup" event resisted the impact of the epidemic. After several twists and turns, it was finally held at the Tanzhou International Conference Center, Foshan, from December 03 to 06, 2020.
The event attracted more than 20 participating teams to register. In the end, 18 representative teams were selected and more than 100 participating players participated. The race was reported by China News.com, Xinhua News Agency and many other media and universities’ official websites. In the end, teams from Wuhan University and Naval Engineering University won the championship in the humanoid relay group, and Zhuhai College of Beijing Institute of Technology won the championship in the autonomous driving group.
The source code of the champion team is released to the participating teams after the game. Each year, the competition rules are different, and the difficulty is upgraded year by year.
