On January 22, 2024, the "Jingtian Cup" Intelligent Navigation Robot Training Camp (Trial Training) of Wuhan University opened at the Wuhan University College Student Engineering Training and Innovation Practice Center (referred to as the "Industrial Innovation Center"). 30 undergraduate students from 6 colleges, including Hongyi Academy, School of Remote Sensing Information Engineering, School of Power and Machinery, School of Electronic Information, School of Electrical and Automation, and School of Computer Science, will undergo a one week intensive training. This training camp is a trial camp aimed at verifying the overall plan of the training camp and laying the foundation for the subsequent development of Hubei Province Science and Technology Innovation Competition Training Camp.

  JINGTIAN   Opening Ceremony

At the opening ceremony, Professor Meng Xiaoliang, the director of the Industrial Innovation Center, delivered a speech and announced the official opening of the training camp. He emphasized the importance of jointly building science and technology innovation training camps between schools and enterprises in cultivating the comprehensive abilities of undergraduate students; I shared my rare opportunity to have access to high-end instruments and equipment during my undergraduate studies, encouraging my classmates to cherish their existing training conditions and gain something in the training camp; Wishing this training camp a complete success!

  JINGTIAN   Training Camp Site

It is reported that the "Jingtian Cup" intelligent navigation robot training camp will be one of the expansion modules of the Hubei Province Science and Technology Innovation Training Camp. This training camp is led by the Wuhan University Innovation Center, with funding and technical support from Wuhan Jingtian Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. It will hold six sessions annually for more than five consecutive years, and the "Jingtian Cup" Intelligent Navigation Robot Competition will be held at the end of each year.
